This Statue of our South Dakota Hero stands at Joe Foss Field at the entrance of the Terminal in Sioux Falls, South Dakota where Joe later became Governor.

The local statue is our choice for Veterans Day Honors.  The realism is consistent with Hermon MacNeil’s  vision of a Beau Arts hero.

Even though it stands 1400 Miles and 79 Years away from Hermon MacNeil’s studio and home in College Point, Queens, New York.
